The services of an award winning music educator can make the difference in helping you achieve your personal or ensemble goals: Dan is a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Teaching Excellence; his ensembles routinely achieve Gold at the Canadian Nationals and are three-time winners at Western Canada’s largest Jazz festival in Surrey, BC. Dan co-directs the Kwalikum Secondary School music program, selected by Jazz Report Magazine as home of Canada’s top jazz band, and recognized by professional educators and musicians alike as one of the most prominent and successful music programs in Canada.

Educational services include ensemble clinics, improvisation workshops, guest conducting appearances, masterclasses, ensemble coaching, and educator professional development.

Private instruction is tailored to the needs of the individual, and is available locally in person, or at a distance through online lessons, audio file exchange, or video conference.
